Red Rock Relay

Another fun year at the Red Rock Relay Moab. This year we are dedicating all of our relays to Sherri who is battling breast cancer. She is our inspiration. Sherri Strong is what we chant when the run gets hard. Love my family and love being healthy with them.

Adrenaline Rush

Adrenaline is powerful. I ran at the pond this morning and just after mile 2 I was coming around a corner near the wooded area and had just enough light to start seeing details. I noticed a dark object about 20 ft from me. Then I noticed a white stripe down the middle of the object and what looked like a tail sticking up. Needless to say I was off that trail and down by the pond with my face turned away pretty fast. Fortnuately there were no smelly repricussions. I had felt ok during my run thus far, but the rest of my run I felt amazing and like I could go forever. A little adrenaline now and then is a nice change.
