Janna's Birthday

Today is Janna's 14th birthday. What a beautiful, talented, smart and spiritual young lady she has become. She is a wonderful example of goodness.

She had a party with many of her church friends + Anna on Friday afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's clubhouse. The girls played hide and seek, watched "Another Cinderella Story" and had cheesecake and opened presents.

Saturday morning we went to Kneaders as a family for Janna's birthday breakfast. It was very yummy.

St. George 1/2 and Dixie Tour

We headed down to St. George Friday morning. Jeffrey had a chance to work on his driving skills for a couple of hours.

When we got to St. George we headed to Dixie Campus and were able to take a tour of Cammie's college choice.

We met up with the Baldwins at the Dixie Convention Center to pick up our packets. After checking to our hotel we headed to the Pizza Factory for a carb overload. Yummy.

Kevin was able to get some shots of me at mile 12ish. I was feeling really good still, but my IT band was just starting to feel irritated, but I was able to keep up my pace until the big finish.

I'm real proud of my 2:06 time. This is my second 1/2 marathon and I was well trained and prepared for it. I had no problem with the hills. I'm sure the altitude made a big difference because I felt like I could power up the hills with no problem.

I'm excited for my next 1/2 in August.
