This has been a wonderful school year. I've had the priviledge of teaching kindergarten for the past 3 years. I have loved having such great students and parents this year. Now it's time to dust of my 1st grade teacher hat and move up with these cuties. The best part of going to 1st grade will be getting to teach so many of my students from this year. I really love these kids.

Happy Memorial Week-end
I want to thank all of those that have lived and died in mine and Kevin's families for the legacy they left us. We are both blessed with great heritages and because of the lives our ancestors lived we are blessed to have this life...Who could ask for anything more?
This collage was created from pictures taken by my sister Ruth in September 2007 at Heber Valley Camp. We were there for our Horsley reunion.

Look What I Learned How to Do!
So I have long admired the beautiful picture collages that many of my blogging friends have on their blogs and I finally called my friend Mandy and she told me how to do it. This is a great FREE google program called Picasa. Once you figure it out, it's really easy to make these fun picture collages. Look for many more on my blog in the future.

Happy Mother's Day
I just want to send a bundle of love to my 4 beautiful children. My patriarchal blessing says being a mother would bring me my greatest challenges and my greatest joys. I must admit that on this Mother's Day all I can remember is the joys. My children are kind, hard working, spiritual, intelligent, talented, beautiful and becoming amazing people everyday. I'm so proud of them. I'm so grateful to be their mother. I want to thank them for making every day mother's day for me.
Thank you-Amberly, Cammie, Jeffrey and Janna. I will love you forever. MOM

Hope of America
Hope of America is an amazing event that all of my children have been able to participate in when they are in 5th grade. They learn all sorts of patriotic songs and actions and finally meet with all of the other students around the valley to create an amazing show. This year our school was able to be on the floor. Unfortunately I had a district meeting and wasn't able to see Janna, my last 5th grader perform. Kevin went and took pictures and Janna had a wonderful experience. I guess I'll just have to wait for when the grandkids do it.

Jeffrey
Thirteen years ago our family was blessed to have our only boy join our family. Jeffrey Leon Hurst was born on May 1, 1996 at about 9:05am.
Jeffrey brought a stong spirit with him from the spirit world. He is very determined, hard working and focused.
Jeffrey puts his whole soul into whatever he's doing. It's never good to let him be bored. He likes to be busy and is very helpful if we can focus his attention where WE want it.
