Check out the flyer I made to put up around town. Frances is going to have an apron booth at our boutique. Come enjoy the fun to help raise money for our great school and make it even better.

Great Read
I heard about this book at a district meeting last week and when we went to Barnes and Noble for family night I saw it and bought it. I read it today. I highly recommend it. If you're in school and hating it, this will help you keep your perspective. I'm so grateful to have an education. I wish there was more I could do to help those who don't have access to an education. Maybe this is why I feel so passionate about donating to the perpetual education fund. It's truly an inspired program to help people help themselves out of poverty. Quote from the book: "Before I met you, Dr. Greg, I had no idea what education was...But now I think it is like water. It is important for everything in life." p. 145

Happy Birthday Janna
Wow, my baby is 11-years-old. How did that happen? I'm certainly not old enough for my youngest child to be 11-years-old. And what a great child she is. I'm so glad she came to our family. Janna is: Very smart, very beautiful, VERY KIND, very artistic, very calm, very diplomatic, very spiritual, very good, VERY Janna. I love you very much Janna. I'm so very glad you're my daughter.
Janna went shopping at Justice and was able to get 6 shirts and a pair of pants for $30. Janna is very frugal.
Even though she knew what she was getting, Janna had me wrap it all up to open in the morning at breakfast. Janna is very enthusiastic.
Janna had a fun birthday party with 9 of her friends in my classroom Friday night. Janna is very good at entertaining guests. Her friend Hanna told her mom it was the best birthday party ever.
Janna had popcorn and High School Musical 3. Janna is very easy to please.
To wrap things up, Janna taught her friends the candy bar game. Janna is a very good teacher. Aren't we all very lucky to have Janna in our lives? VERY!!!!!!

Christmas in February
I know there are many who feel gift cards are a very impersonal gift. Some of us find the right gift card delightful. Kevin's brother always gives us Barnes and Noble gift cards for birthdays or Christmas and our family loves it. The man who started the company that Kevin works for is a big advocate for being a lifelong learner. He is a voracious reader and to promote reading with his employees, he has a program where the company will reimburse half of what you pay for books you buy. Whenever Scott gives us gift cards, we go for Family Home Evening and buy lots of books. It really is Christmas in February.
It is Janna's month to plan Family Night, so she chose Mimi's Cafe to go eat before the big shopping spree since it's right by Barnes and Noble.
Janna and Jeffrey browsing for books. It's hard to decide.
Amberly and Cammie, getting mad at me for taking their picture while they browse for books.
Look at our haul. We ended up with 20 books and two book lights FOR FREE! Thanks Uncle Scott and Wavetronix and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Revision
OK! I love the idea of making a slide show of my life but because blogger won't let you enlarge a slide show, I decided to add these slides as photos so they can be enlarged to read the writing. I know it's redundant, but I worked so hard on that slide show I'm going to keep it on the blog. If you're interested in the details you'll be able to click on the photos to read the text.
All About Me
I really enjoyed my cousin's post about 25 interesting things about herself. I've been working on a slideshow to do the same thing, but it's taking a long time. I thought I'd share what I have so far.
