Tis the Season

For Family Home Evening we got out all the Christmas stuff to move on to the next holiday. Last year I decided to leave the lights on my fake tree so I wouldn't have to put them on again this year, but this was a foolish idea. Two of the five strands of lights wouldn't work, but they were so tangled that we just had to take them all off. After at least an hour of frustration, Kevin and I headed to Big Lots and bought all new lights for the upstairs tree and gave the colored lights that still worked to the kids for the downstairs tree. Although this was very annoying, the tree turned out beautiful. Now I have to get up the energy to decorate it.

Amberly doesn't like the picture, but I think she looks "adorable."

Cammie has had many surgeries for her cleft and grandma Sue started giving her Angels everytime she had a surgery. Here is her angel stocking keeping in the tradition grandma started.

Jeffrey taking a break from listening to some type of sporting event to pose with his stocking.
Janna actually enjoys all the hoopla while we decorate. She's always happy to join in the fun. She makes this process enjoyable.
Doesn't the tree look lovely? Now to put the decorations on. We'll see how long that takes.
